Beetle 1200/1300/1500 8.68-
With lowered cars, there may be problems with the track rods, with extremely lowed cars that spontaneously hit the tank, but even with normally lowered cars the track rods will wear bullets a lot harder, this is because the angle of rotation has increased. For this the perfect solution was found by mounting the balls instead of via the top of the spindles via the underside of the spindles, the track rod balls are now mounted upside down, as it were. This displacement set consists of two bushings (for the left and right track rod ball), which must first be mounted in the spindle, making it possible to mount the balls from below. Do you have a beetle before 5/1968, even then you can apply this set, but it is necessary to use the track rod balls after 6/1968.
