Brake cylinders should never be assembled dry, each internal part should be lubricated with a thin layer of brake cylinder paste.
You would think that new brake parts are already provided with paste from the factory, but that is not always the case. Check this before mounting the part. Do not use universal oils, greases or brake fluid, only brake cylinder paste. Only then are you assured of perfect long-term lubrication, avoiding the risk of leakage due to dry running and dehydration.
We can't force you to buy brake cylinder paste, but if you don't use it, you run the risk of having to repeat the job in the foreseeable future. Therefore, no claim can be made on the warranty period of the brake part.
It belongs to the inventory of your toolbox, so make sure you always have it to hand. The paste is not only suitable for brake parts, but also for the hydraulic clutch.
Comes in a tube of 180 grams
