The Volkswagen Buses equipped by Westfalia are standard equipped with a rear seat that can be converted into a comfortable bed in no time at all. The backrest of the bench can be laid flat, during this operation the seat rises so that both the seat and the backrest are level with the part above the motor. As a result, there is now enough space for a spacious bed.

Not everyone has a factory camper, many Buses (nowadays even closed vans) are converted into campers. Finding an original sofa bed is not an easy task, which is why many roll up their sleeves and make this sofa themselves, the hinges are the most important part.

The hinges are supplied in pairs, including two extra brackets that support the seat when it is used as a bed.

Note: These hinges can also be used for a Split Bus, provided that the brackets that lean against the wheel arch and the rear are bent (the angle is different than with a Panorama bus, for which they were originally developed).
